| Re-mining the Tandem Mass Spectra Data… What have You Missed? |
|
Abstract
Wong Chee Hong, Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, U.S.A.
Our laboratory has amassed a large amount of tandem MS data about the proteins present in plasma samples of numerous cancer types across the years. To explore this voluminous data, we have developed IPASAtlas which stores and presents this data. This talk will discuss protein and peptide identifications phenomenon observed via IPASAtlas and the approaches to recover the biological information available in the tandem mass spectra data missed by the typically peptide identification analysis.
